Opting out
Unless you opt out, all members of the class are bound by the terms of the Comox Valley Credit Union settlement.
If you wish, you may elect not to participate in this settlement, or "opt out," in which case you will not receive any settlement benefits and any claim you make will have to be made independently.
How to opt out
You must provide written notice to CFM Lawyers LLP by mail by January 27, 2027 at:
CFM Lawyers LLP400 – 856 Homer Street
Vancouver, B.C.
V6B 2W5
Your letter counts if it is postmarked on or before January 27, 2027, even if it reaches us after that date. An email or a phone call is not enough. Say that you were a member of Comox Valley Credit Union, give your name, address and Claim ID (if you have one), and say that you want to opt out of its settlement.
Opting out of this settlement does not affect any other settlement you may be part of.

A letter in your own words is enough. If you prefer, you may print and use our opt-out form.
