How to make a claim
- Fill in the online Claim Form by January 27, 2027. Enter the Claim ID from your notice if you have one. If you did not receive a notice, leave the Claim ID blank: you can still claim.
- Choose how to be paid: Interac e-Transfer to your email address, or a cheque mailed to you.
- Watch for your decision. Every claimant will be told by email (or mail) whether the claim is approved, and the amount, by March 1, 2027.
Good to know
- There is no charge for making a claim.
- You are not required to provide any documents. Your eligibility will be determined using the banking records of North Shore Credit Union. However, if you have account statements from prior to March 2003 with North Shore Credit Union you can attach them as they may assist us in validating your claim.
- The form asks approximately when you became a member. Your answers help us find you in the credit union's records.
- The refund can only be paid to the class member named on the claim.
- If you were also a member of one of the other credit unions, make a separate claim in that settlement. See all eight settlements.
